Welcome to DeepThread, a Chrome extension and web service developed by Algolog to enhance your workflows across GitHub, Jira, Linear, and Slack with AI-powered insights. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DeepThread and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using DeepThread, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing DeepThread, accessing its features, or using any related website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy (link-to-privacy-policy), which is incorporated herein by reference. Algolog reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, with notice provided via email or in-app alerts at least 30 days prior to changes taking effect. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
DeepThread is an AI-powered tool that analyzes issues, tickets, and threads on GitHub, Jira, Linear, and Slack to provide actionable insights and summaries through a conversational interface. Future updates may include support for Google Chat and Microsoft Teams. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal or organizational use to enhance productivity and collaboration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use DeepThread. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and are not barred from using the Service under applicable laws. Organizations using DeepThread must designate an authorized representative who agrees to these Terms on their behalf.
4. Account and Authentication
- Account Creation: Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Third-Party Authentication: DeepThread uses OAuth from GitHub, Google, and other platforms (e.g., Linear API keys, Jira cookies) for access. You must obtain and provide these credentials as outlined in our Getting Started Guide (link-to-guide). Algolog is not liable for misuse of third-party credentials.
- Termination: Algolog may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or inactivity (e.g., no login for 180 days).
5. License and Usage Rights
Algolog grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DeepThread for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
- You may:
- Install and use the Chrome extension on devices you own or control.
- Access AI-driven insights for personal or internal business use.
- You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify DeepThread’s code.
- Use the Service for illegal purposes or to harass others.
- Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service without written consent from Algolog.
6. User Content
- Definition: “User Content” includes data you provide to DeepThread, such as GitHub issues, Jira tickets, Linear tasks, or Slack threads for analysis.
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Algolog a limited license to process and analyze it to provide the Service, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. Algolog is not liable for any content you submit.
7. Subscription and Quotas
- Free Tier: Available with a limit of 10 requests per day.
- Pro Tier: Offers unlimited requests and additional features, subject to purchase via a separate payment process (details excluded per request).
- Quota Enforcement: Algolog reserves the right to adjust quotas or suspend access if limits are exceeded or abused.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in DeepThread, including its design, code, and AI models (e.g., integration with Google Gemini, Anthropic, Cohere, OpenRouter), are owned by Algolog. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
- As Is: DeepThread is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Limitation of Liability: Algolog is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or third-party actions, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Third-Party Services: DeepThread’s functionality depends on third-party platforms (e.g., GitHub, Slack). Algolog is not responsible for their availability or performance.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Algolog harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of DeepThread, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Termination
Algolog may terminate or suspend your access to DeepThread at its discretion, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but prior agreements (e.g., liability limits) remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, with disputes resolved in the courts of Abuja, Nigeria. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in force.

14. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Algolog regarding DeepThread.
- No Waiver: Algolog’s failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
- Assignment: Algolog may assign these Terms to a successor without your consent, but you may not assign your rights without our approval.
